I need to gain a few lbs. What are some foods that are hgih in calories? I'd prefer highest calorie per gram, so you can eat more of it.

Don't say the obivious stuff like weight gainers. I need normal food.

MAKE ME FAT!! 😀

With lots of spanish olives may do it.

You don't realize how hard it really is to eat 3,000 calories a day when you don't eat breakfast, eat a fast food lunch at work, and eat a healthy dinner.

If you're trying to gain lean muscle mass, then best is a high protien/carbohydrate diet. If you're gonna gain mass and don't mind a lot of fat gain as well, eat everything in sight, even if you don't want to. A common mistake skinny people make when trying to get bigger is not counting calories. It's just as important when losing weight. Many skinny people overestimate the amount they eat, and in reality it only comes out to a thousand or two calories.

Thats me in a nut shell.

I may try the shake thing, just to get 2200 calories at once, but that stuff is so damn expensive. Plus, you only get 5 servings out of the entire big jug thing.

<edit>

$34 for the weight gainer 2200. Not that bad I guess. I'm gonna quit smoking and start on this stuff. Now I have no excuse, and plus I'll kill two birds with one hand grenade.

So basically I have to live off of peanut butter, weight gainer, deserts, potatoes, and big macs. 😛 Ug, I hear my arteries hardening already.

Don't waste your money on weight gainer. If you want to gain weight, follow this simple plan. Have a protein shake but instead of mixing it with skim milk and/or water, make a large ice cream milkshake using like 3 scoops of ice cream. It will come out to something like 800 calories per serving with decent amounts of protein (40g) and a lot of fat (25g).

Weight Gainer = Protein powder + malted milk

I've never actually tried a weight gainer, but do not rely on it. Rely on solid, healthy foods. Lots of em.

The New Diet Manifesto Look for the skinny bastard diet.

When my father was in the Airforce he needed to gain weight so they put him on a beer and banana diet.
