Interesting, and potentially a very important moment. If you wonder why any of us who aren't particle physicists should care, I remind you that when the electron was discovered in 1897 it was useless; it had no practical applications... yet now we live in a world that is run by electricity and electronics, which wouldn't be possible without the discovery of the electron.
