HiFi Multimedia PC

I'm planning to build a PC for Multimedia use:
- hi-end audio (Cd, SACD, DVD-A)
- general video and TV (TV, DVD)
The system will be part of my network, video output will be to a large LCD, audio output to a set of power amps with 4 regular speakers + subwoofer. I'll connect a separate SACD/DVD-A player to the "in" of the sound card.

I would like to get some ideas on which equipment would suit best for these tasks.
At the moment I am thinking about following configuration, pls
- fanless ATX (like Hush ATX) (no Epia processors, just a regular P4, around 3 GHz)
- 1 GB memory
- small H/D about 70-80 GB, S-ATA (for program files and OS only, other files will be stored on my network)
- Video - ATI 9800 PRO
- Audio - either the Lynx Two or RME 9632
- TV card (not yet decided)

Remote control
I'm doubting about a small touchscreen or a regular PDA with wifi

Since it will be quite some investment, the system will be built modular, for instance the LCD screen will take some months before I can afford it. On the other hand, I want the system to be top-quality to match at least the current audio equipment I have.

Help me with suggestions, or links where I can find good information.

Thanks
