I wanted to get netlimiter running on my bro's computer. He's killing the bandwidth with his bittorrent downloads and doesnt want to turn his comp off, was wondering if there was a way to hide the icon that shows in the system tray yet still have the program running in the background.

thanks

You can right click on the taskbar, check Hide inactive icons and customize it to always hide NetLimiter.

I wanted it to entirely dissappear from the taskbar though. I dont want him seeing it at all like entirely remove that icon from the tray yet the program still runs in the background.

Is that possible?

thanks

Most applications wont let you do that kind of thing for security purposes (VNC comes to mind). The easier way is to get a router that supports bandwidth throttling ;)

Either that, or find the circuit breaker to his room :D
