Hiding folders in server 2003

I am setting up a server where I work. I have all the data stored on one hard drive (D🙂, and that is mapped to users as "U:". I have set the permissions on the sub directories for the appropriate users, however becasue the entire drive is mapped for every user, they can all SEE the other sub directories. The user cannot enter directories they are not allowed too, but they still know they are there.

I want to make it so the users can only see directories they have access to. I Tried using ABE, but that only works with shared folders, and would require me mapping each folder to different departments.

Is there anyway users will beable to only see their folder and no other folders, without having to map and share the folders?

Wow i feel dumb, I had enabled ABE on the wrong directory apparently. I thought it would be more of a per directory setting, but enabling it on the parent directory did the trick.

It's a great tool.
