Hiding day of the week and date in WinXP task manager box

Is there a way to just display the time on the start bar in WinXP. I like using the WinXP theme as opposed to classic, but I dont want it to show me the date and day of the week. Is there any way to do this?

Not sure if this is what you mean but right click on the task bar and select properties. Check the show clock box.
