Forgetting what console he develops a game for, whether exclusive to PS3, or multi-console... what would you want to see the next announcement be?

Due to the teaser image regarding Metal Gear Solid... I'm sadly expecting another MGS game to be announced, but I wonder what the details will be if that's the case.
Will it be a special game released only for the 360 or multi-platform? Something like MGS4-Subsistence?
I mean, with the tease of a Raiden figure on the image, it could be extra missions or something relating to what Raiden does. Or could be MGS5. I doubt he'll do a 360 exclusive game unless its simply a re-hash of MGS4 with extra stuff. That seems more common among some dev's: like the Ninja Gaiden games, one releases on Xbox, then a re-hash with extra goodies is released on the PS3.
Can't want for Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 BTW. However, that's off topic.

Personally, as much as I enjoy MGS, I really really really really want Kojima to announce Zone of the Enders 3 for PS3. Jesus that series is pure kickass. So much sexy robot destruction, and in the Kojima style, backstory that is just pouring out everywhere.

Seeing ZOE on the PS3 would be pure bliss, and just next-gen in general. I mean, the number of enemies that could be on screen at once? I think they really pushed that with the first ZOE on PS2, so many enemies flying around on the screen at times. Seeing that in HD with awesome graphics, mmmmmmm. I need a new ZOE game dammit!

Well during his Keynote speech at GDC he made a couple cracks about how he wants to make something other than Metal Gear games. He talked about making one last "Ultimate Stealth Game" and hopefully wrapping up Metal Gear, but that may be what he considers MGS4 to be. But either way in the not so distant future I wouldn't be surprised if he and his team started working on a non-MGS game.

MGS4 - substance/subsistence/whatever it can be called now, and/or MGS5 - make it either with snake in between MGS2 and MGS4 or a completely different one with raiden to start.

Yeah, that's fine and all... I just want him to give us a new Z.O.E. already dammit! He can go on and make 10 more MGS games, I don't care, just as long as we get some ZOE love from time to time.

To add to this, I want nothing more from Hideo Kojima. He is heralded as some sort of writing genius, but his stories are so hackneyed and convoluted. Also, adding the rail-shooting and ZOMG GIANT ROBOT BATTLES to the last two MGS games is totally unwarranted. I literally cannot replay MGS3 and MGS4 because of these awful parts.

MGS and MGS2 will forever be the pinnacle of the series. It was all downhill from there.

I almost forgot about the whole ZOE franchise until I read this thread, what a great game for the PS2! That was one of the first "really great" PS2 titles I played. Lots of fun. I heard the second was good too, but I never got a chance to play it.

Then preferably not MGS5. I'd love another MGS game, especially after 4, but I'd really like to see something fresh from Kojima, even if it's just ZOE 3.

So just because of one part you can't play the great game that is MGS3??? MGS3 is much better than 2 and 4.

Your opinion does not mirror the general consensus at ALL.

MGS3 and MGS4 are considered to be the pinnacle of the series, MGS2 is generally thought to be the worst (I liked it quite a bit personally) and MGS1 is only relevant because it started the whole thing and nostalgia is a powerful sentiment.

I want a director's cut of MGS4 (it's definitively coming) and a completely new IP or spin-off with different gameplay (like an action ninja game based on Cyborg Ninja Raiden)

No, I'd have to agree with him.

MGS4 being in the top is a bit more controversial, but 3 is usually regarded as the best with 2 being the worst.

And this is from a very large pool of opinions. Of course, you can't get everyone, and my data pool is far from experimentally valid.

Back on topic, ZOE3 GOD DAMN IT. WHY WON'T YOU MAKE IT! I DON'T CARE THAT THE SECOND ONE DIDN'T SELL WELL! IT WAS STILL REGARDED AS ONE OF THE BEST (and most under appreciated) MECH GAMES EVER!

If they announced ZOE3 I would cry with joy.
