Hidden text?

Heya Zuni - I don't know if this has been discussed before (I did try to do a search for it, but found nothing 😛), and I've not tried this on another browser (I don't have one), but a quck question:

Why is it that in IE 5.00, next to the drop-down menu on the right in any forum, that the word "Category:" (w/o the quotes) is hidden? I see it only when I highlight the text....

I can see it just fine. Most likely it is background color as Paulson mentioned.
