1. Fill up cup 1/2 way with water
2. Fold over a few layers of paper towel
3. Hold folded paper towel over the cup
4. Attempt to drink the water through the paper towel
5. Hiccups gone!

It works for me anyway
 
hiccups are extremely easy to stop. all you have to do is conciously try to hiccup and you will stop. it might take a little practice but i can stop hiccuping immediately every time.

That works, except it gets annoying that you can't hiccup anymore. 🙁 Something else that works for me is if you focus on yoru breathing and regulate your breaths, they seem to go away.
 
i guess i've never tried to hiccup on purpose. in fact i can't remember the last time i had them. i'm starting to get pissed though, i know that
