Yea my signal strength says excellent with 54mbps and the linksys wireless router is only in the next room about 15 feet away. Just seem to get it right when im about to shoot some one or when some one runs up close to me.

Yea thats what i have had on it since yesterday and it ran smooth but i moved my desk so i went wireless. Dont understand why it would be happening when my ping is so low. But on like TF2 i will be close up trying to kill someone and then it will hiccup and i will be dead and not know what happened.

I had problems with a Linksys wireless router recently and had to return it. The model was WRT160N. I then went and got a D-Link DIR-655 which is working great.

Once your connected try turning off the service for Windows wireless and see if it still does it when playing (If you disconnect you will have to turn it back on to get it going again)
This is an old problem from the past and what I just said points to where the problem is, not how to resolve it.

i figured it out it was Mcaffee antivirus with the wireless network security. It kept causing the internet to lag and drop connection. From the reviews i read on the internet many other people have had this problem also. I uninstalled it and got new antivirus and now everything working great.
