Hibernate Problem

Hello,
When I use Hibernate in Windows 2000, the computer hangs on the pop-up screen that says something like "Please Wait, preparing your computer for hibernation.." Would this be some kind of BIOS configuration causing it to hang?
 
I don't think I have any Xing-using programs on my computer. The only media ones I have are Windows Media Player 7, Windows' own DVD Player and the beta of Creatives PC-DVD player for my DXR3 decoder.
