Ehh..Ritek, not so hot, but good for burning and selling\giving those cds to other people is a good deal

not to be contrary, but the flyer says skus are 2006-8784 and 2006-8454
maybe that's why people are having trouble finding these

I am in St. Louis, MO.... I just ran down to the local OfficeMax on my lunch break after checking out this thread. There is an instore flyer saying the 74min spindles are on sale for $9.99 untill this saturday, but the store didn't even carry them, just the 80min's for $49.99. The original cashier I got was a grumpy old jackass that acted like I was SOL, but I asked another employee to show me where they were at.. then they realized they didnt even have a spot on the shelf for the 74min, so they were nice enough to pricematch the 80mins at $9.99 for me 🙂 I was able to grab four of them.

Thanks alot for the tip guys, I hope these burn OK at 24x.

that might mean that there's a memo from hq saying to pm the 80 min when oos of the 74 *crosses fingers*
methink that modem is kinda hot also--someone want to post it? not me

I just got back from Office Max they were out of the 74 min ones so they price matched the 80 min ones for me only bought one but will be going back tomorrow and getting more they were 9.99

you people who got 80mins are lucky. hehehe. I went to three stores to get some 74min. LOL, two store didn't even cary the 74min but have an adv. for it.

Went to my local Omax (Orland Hills, IL), rung up at 49.99. Did not see any in-store flyer/circular for this item#2006-8784 for $9. They had a rack full of this spindles. :disgust:

just for future reference (me know deal is dead now--i finally bought two yesterday just because they were the last ones left and i can always use cheap cdrs), this deal was also on the web ad for in-store deals. maybe one can print it out and take it in store (actaully that's what i did--but maybe that was ymmv type action) for clarification.
