Just noticed this on the Circuit City web site. It looks like a pretty good price since the cheapest I can find this DVD on pricegrabber is like $100.

hi-val is out of business. but another company did buy their name. so i don't know much here... it's not like hi-val ever manufactured anything, they just put their name on sh!t

yeah i heard hival did go out...then all of a sudden we got a new shipment of Hival stuff at compusa. I was like WTF?
I remember the old Hival stuff wasnt too shaby. THe old 6x DVD kits came with 6x toshiba and hollywood plus decoder cards.

I decided to open one up and see what was inside, and i saw a brand called Top Glory or something like that. I was like huh?

Looks like the company that bought the name decided to skimp on quality...i say stay away.
