Nice. There's obviously emotion behind what you're doing and that's as important as anything.
My composition instructor used to give me snippets of music almost weekly and had me work on varying texture. I could do anything I wanted as long as I altered the texture of the excerpt in some way. iirc I had to make 10 variations on each assignment. It really helped me.
You kind of hinted at that sort of thing when you briefly went staccato near the end. You should extend that idea considerably, maybe write an entire section that's inundated with a staccato type dryness.
Practicing a little pedal-less staccato might help you clean up those left hand arpeggios a bit as well. imo the kind of music you're trying to create benefits from harmonic clarity. But that's just me. I don't know exactly what your vision is.
