Hi-Speed Device in Low Speed Hub

My motherboard supports USB 2.0 and it is enabled in BIOS but my mp3 player giives me a message saying 'Hi-Speed Device Plugged Into Low Speed Hub". So I installed Microsoft's XP SP1 USB drivers (or what I thought was them) and I still get the same message. Any ideas?

did you install your m/board drivers?

does it transfer at crap speeds or does it seem semi decent?

I installed the latest Nforce drivers since my mobo is an Asus Nforce3.

 

after you install SP1, you gotta goto device manager and look for the device with a ! mark. Then click it and say reinstall drivers, then let it do a search and should install. Good Luck!
