I LOVE running hi-res desktops. At work I have a 22" running at 1920x1440. I'd really love to find someone who makes a 1280x1024 15" LCD screen. Has anyone seen any around the place? I've tried googling it but to no avail.

Hey! i´m also looking for something like that and it seems there´s nothing on the market. I was considering stop looking for monitors and directly scan panel makers like chi mei and au optronics [i suppose that if they dont produe´em then there´s no hd 15" sets], anyone in this forum may add moro data on this?

edit

well i came here from an external link and now i notice the scream posted this on general hardware so i´m gonna copy paste it to video,... sorry.

ok, this is pretty weird i´ve found a... err... two ---16"--- lcd monitors from eizo with 1280x1024, but it is not even on eizo´s web so i supposed they´r discontinued models, and their price r also weird for this size about 500$

pricegrabber serves u a 16"lcd

i´m looking for this to build a Diy hd projector a the higher the resolution the better but at the same time the smaller the panel the better.

I remember seeing a NEC LCD a long time ago that did 1280x1024, but I can't seem to find any info about it on their website any more.

Have you considered using a 15" 1920x1200 laptop panel with a DIY controller?

As to the topic; there are obviously panels available in this size, but it seems that no manufacturer wants to use them in a desktop product.
