Hi performance ram vs valued ram

Pricing for these system rams (DDR400) vary greatly from low $60 up to over $200 for a pair of 2x512mb.
Question is what performance advantages would I get if I upgrade from the value ones to a faster RAC/CAS timing ones? Would it be worth it? Or how does it translate into gaming ie fps or better benchmarking?
 
If you are NOT going to OC your machine, then Value is fine.

even Value RAM can be OC-ed, but not as much as Pricy RAMs
