I bought a compaq (mistake) 7el147 in october, it came with a p3 800eb and tnt2 m64 16mb. Started readign these forums. Realized it wasn't fast enough, bought geforce2 mx, and 128mb of ram. Still not fast enough, bought geforce2 gts 32mb ddr. Didn't like mobo, bought cusl2-c, wanted amd, traded cpu and mobo for duron 600@880 and kt7-raid, only have had this for a couple weeks, not fast enough, sold it, ordered duron 700@1000, ordering an asus a7v133 and ordered 128mb of crucial cas2 ram (pc133). I need help, I'M ONLY 18 YEARS OLD!! HEHE

You're right. You've got to rid yourself of the temptation. You'd better send me all your hardware, on the double.

:D

Let's all take turns giving Jason a hug. Wait, on second thought, let's just beat him up and take his sneakers!

No you take his hardware then his shoes and socks (very important to take the socks)! Won't be chasing us.

When your bank account hits -150 you will stop.

Wow, I'd get out while you can. During my upgrade streak, I must've shuffled through seven processors, six motherboards, 1GB of PC133, and four generations of graphics cards.

Gee, KestrelSan, aka Kestrel, aka aRyll. We thought you would be a little smarter than to use a variant of the same handle, and previous email address. Well, ya gotta go...again. Goodbye!

I am a pizza delivery man, representing Little Caesar's. So every day I work, I get cash. No cheques every two weeks, so I spend as I go, my bank account currently sits at $1.07 (THAT'S CDN!! LIKE $0.68 US!!)

How do you purchase online? (I assume you are since you're ordering things) Credit card and pay it later? That isn't exactly 'paying as you go' ;)

You can get a CC at 18 here in the states :p

CCs are evil, I have 3 and 10,000 in available credit. The temptation sucks!!!!!!!

"UA - Urine Analysis? Wha?"
LOL

You just have to force yourself to stop upgrading. I think I have finally stopped myself, but not before my last couple of purchases of a Tekram 390U3W U160 controller and a 9.1gb IBM Ultrastar 10krpm U160 scsi hd. Although, I did get a great deal on the hd for only $90 shipped.:)

Hmmm...maybe it's time I upgraded my laptop to a better model? hehe:)

*sigh* I'm an upgradaholic too. Especially the hot deals forums, some of the deals are too good to pass up.

Lately, too many deals are too good to pass up.

Well, I'm at it again, just moments after starting this topic, I began talks with ALstonLoong for a delta black label fan for my fop32, which will now be a fop38, cuz I collapsed under the pressure, and bought it.
I just wanted those extra 3-4 degrees.

God.. this addiction is worse than cigarettes and beer.. anyone remember the 386 days and how the 486 was awesome when it became available, 256 colors was a good thing, a 10 gig hard drive was unheard of anywhere but huge data centers, and 17 inch monitors were considered big screens.. LOL.. how far we have come..
