Should I get a high gain antenna or a wireless repeater?

I am just guessing but a wireless reapeater does the same thing as a high gain antenna but in addition it supposedly extends your wireless coverage as well?

Can someone shed some light on this for me please ^_^

isnt a wireless repeater a better idea because then you can 'feed' the area needed?

change channels.

There isn't a need for a high gain antenna indoors. Quality of the radio is more important.

just get an aluminum light reflector (premade parabolic reflector) and position a wireless USB dongle at the focal point. aim it around a bit, and you should be golden (probably close to -12db gain). I saw a pic of people weather proofing the setup using baby bottles...I just use it inside. It helps since the signal has to make it through a couple of walls and a floor.
I think this is the link...
