Hi-Fi Stereo Components

Is there a web site that I can learn more about stereo components? More specifically, receivers, cd-players, and speakers. I want to know what to look for when buying some equipment, and also, some reviews of brands, models, etc. Any suggestions?

crutchfield.com has a lot of useful info and pics on the gear they carry, as well as being an excellent place to buy from. Prices are often a bit higher than grey-market websites, but service is very good, shipping is cheap, and everything has a real factory warranty.

Yes, audioreview is your friend. Might want to try epinions.com as well...

I think Crutchfield is very nice, albeit overpriced, since they offer big up-close pictures of all their components, so you can see exactly what you're buying, and what it looks like.

Have fun. I know I'm gonna spend all summer figuring out my next upgrade.
