So I have a 32" LCD TV is it worth upgrading my DVD player to a HD up-converting DVD player is the picture still good after its converted to 720P ?? does anyone have 1 of these?

my other question is that it says you need HDMI but my TV only DVI would a HDMI to DVI cable work with this? edit: i just sent samsung an email about this.

now i would buy a real HD-DVD player but it seems to early and they cost $400!

thx in advance

Yes but only to a small improvement. If you have Plasma/DLP/LCD you'd most likely to see a slight shaper pictures but not anywhere near the true or native 1080i or 720p but definitely beter than standard DVD native which is 480p.
I myswelf own a Oppo Digital dvd player and this is by far the most if not the best conversion player you can buy today.
If I were you, recommend not to spend any $$$ on these and save your hard earned $$$ for hd-dvd (or Blue-ray).

DVD-HDMI adaptor or vice-versa is all you need. You can get a cabl made that way or just buy the adoptor. Either way works great.
