HHC-001 vs HAC-V81 vs Volcano 9 noise?

Just curious if anyone has had experience with all 3 of these. I need to buy one today, I don't have patience to wait for something else shipped

I have the HAC-V81, and when I lapped it, it runs pretty nice and quiet. I'm leaning towards the Volcano 9 CM with the funky lights though. Anyone deal with the HHC-001? I get nervous when I see a 60MM fan, I don't want another whining jet engine in my PC...

Doh Thought I had an answer. I'm scouring the internet for reviews, I think I've eliminated the HHC-001, as it is referred to as a "Screaming Bitch" lol. Also seen a few Volcano 9 Noise complaints, although with the larger fan/rheostat, it might be manageable.

I may just go cheap again with the HAC-V81 again and lap it. It is doing a fantastic job on my Tbred B at 2.2Ghz, and my TbredA isn't going to go above 1.8 or 1.9Ghz.

Just thought I'd say that I used to own a HHC-001 and the above description is very accurate. Unless you planned on replacing the fan, don't bother with the original version. I believe there is a low-speed fan version that is somewhat quieter though.

I picked up a V81. I'll lap it down like I did the last one, it did a dandy job.

I've got a Volcano 9 and it works pretty well.. 2100+ @ ~2.2 GHz (3000 rpm only). This fan is great because you can make it as quiet as you want - 2000 rpm is pretty much inaudible, especially over other case fans.
