HFM.NET reporting wrong PPD totals?

I noticed in the weekly stats that I had around 80,000 points, in a 7-day span. EOC stats lists my weekly average at around 12,000.

Yet my HFM.NET is showing 16,000 PPD. 11,000+ for the GPU, and like 4000-5000 PPD for the CPU.

So why does HFM.NET seem to think I'm getting 16K PPD, when the real stats show I'm only getting 12K PPD?

Does HFM.NET blindly assume that you are using a passkey? Is the PPD for the CPU WUs automatically calculated based on a bonus?

I'm going to shut down the CPU SMP client if I don't get this resolved. No reason to waste power for like 1K PPD.

You may already know this but HFM has various ways of calculating results.
Go to Edit/Preferences and click on the "options" tab. In the upper right is the Calculate PPD dropdown box. You may need to select a different method to get a more accurate reading. I think the "last frame" and "last three frames" are best for seeing resuts after OCing. "All Frames" and "Effective rate" give you a more accurate overall (and lower) number.
And yes, HFM takes into account the bonus, and it will calculate less if you aren't going to make a deadline.

I dunno, it seems like having to remember some cryptic passcode every time I set up F@H is going to be a PITA. Do I need to enter it for the GPU client too?

There Is a setting in hfm that lets you see what the points are without taking the bonus into consideration. I,m not home to tell you the exact way tio change it. It's in one of the drop down menus and has a keyboard shortcut to toggle it on and off.
The passcode can be used on the ati gpus, not sure about nvidia. More than likely you can add it.

I have an email where they sent the code. Its in gmail. and I can access it anywhere in the world. Copy/paste works wonders.(^C/^V)

In hfm.net to change the bonus calculation you go under view then choose toggle bonus ppd/credit calculation or use Alt+O. Changing it changes my ppd on my cpu from 6,000 to 1,100. Currently getting the 6k since I crunch with my passcode, which is starred on my gmail account for easy access.
