I'm about to pull the trigger on the HF200 but I just wanted to be sure I'm not missing something. I've looked on the Canon website to compare the two and I only found one difference: the internal 32gb storage of the HF20 + SDHC slot versus only the SDHC slot in the HF200. I prefer to buy camera stuff from bhphotovideo.com and the price difference is $300 which seems absurd for that one extra feature considering SDHC cards aren't nearly that expensive. If that is truly the only difference then the price gap is definitely not worth it to me since I could buy 2 32gb cards and an extra battery for the same price as the HF20.
Lastly, does anyone have a recommendation on a good 32gb Class 6 SDHC card for this camcorder? I've been looking at a bunch on Amazon and Newegg, but the reviews were never very persuasive either way. I am also hesitant to buy cards by companies I consider 'no-name' like ADATA and Patriot. I don't know why I have that perception of them but any memory company other than Kingston, Crucial, or the other big-names just don't say quality to me but I'm probably wrong. I don't need something insanely fast built for professional use, but I'd like something near top of the line if that makes sense.
Thanks for any help you can offer.
