Can we have a "subscribe to this thread" in the quick reply? It seems like it would be really handy especially for us opera users. If not thanks anyway :D

If you have the quick reply docked at the bottom, look at the at the lower right hand corner of the quick reply box. The left most box is "Subscribe to this thread."

Yes I understand this but you have to post your message then you have to go back and subscribe to it. Which makes it take just as long as it would to just click reply in most circumstances. To make it truly faster it should have a box that you can tick to subscribe to it just like when you click reply.

Hehe, the whole point of quick reply is to be quick, if we start adding options here and there it becomes the reply form :) So, use the reply form if you want to subscribe :)

I can understand the desire to avoid "feature creep" for the Quick Reply form, and in some ways I agree with that policy, despite the fact that it keeps a subscribe to thread checkbox from being added (something I'd much like to see).

However, would it be possible to add an "always subscribe to thread by default" checkbox to the user profile, like some other forum softwares have? I don't make that many useless posts (or so I like to think ;)), and I usually want to subscribe to the threads that I post in. Ergo, it would save time (for me, because I could just use quick reply) and bandwidth (for you, since I wouldn't have to load the full reply page each time).

And if you can add a "Never return me to the thread" option as well, as per my suggestion here
