I have a blue core from what i can tell. I have been reading some sites and they said that it would overclock better then the green core and be better and more stable. I have an Iwill KK266 and 512 mb PC133 sdram, Kyro 2 4500 64mb, 30gb Caviar 7200rpm. Could i get 1.26 out of it reasonably at 100/9.5?

blue Core = Copper interconetcts(sp) in the Chip
Green Core = Aluminum

Blue is from Germany and Green is From Auston Texas

All Athlons above 1 gig should be blue core

Duron are from Auston

Don't mind my spelling I don't feel well

Just thought it should be known that has long since been proven to be false. Their are MANY different colored cires on both Duron's and Athlon's.
I've seen purple, blue, green, yellowish, beige, etc etc.
I've seen all of the above on Athlons and Duron's of varying clocks. Simply put the color of the die is nothing more then the polish that was used in the fabrication plant at that given time.
And die polish has been known to change on an almost weekly basis.

Alright thanks man... i was looking around and saw that most people that got blue cores got faster overlocking speeds, and my Athlon is a 950

It's just luck of the draw. The color of the core bears no relation to the FAB it came from nor to whether it has copper interconnects.
