Well, today i got a Fuji 1400Zoom camera..it's 1.3mega pixel, me and my brother did some comparison shots, he has the DSC-P2(or whichever is 3megapixels) and I have basically come to the conclusion that mine is so far better indoors(except for on small text) and the fuji seems to use colors better, because when we got home it was dark outside and we couldn't take any..I can post some sample pics(from my camera and his) if you want, but here's a pic I took from indoors, of outside..I think the quality is amazing for a 1.3mp camera.

I would go with the 2.0 megapixel camera unless you're printing the pictures you take.

Edit: oh yeah, the only complaint my brother has about his camera is the slow shutter speed and if you can't hold the camera very still pictures will turn out crappy

Canon PowerShot S300 and loving it. :D

Really tempted by the Minolta Dimage X though. That thing is disturbingly small.

Both are 2gigapixels and I like sony because I like it's compact sleek looks.

Big difference between 2 & 3 gigapixels? I don't plan to frame my photos, but I'm looking for some good quality shots. THe P7 is like ~$400 I'm still debating if its worth it.

I personally went for the 4 megapixel version, the p9. Not only did i NEED the smaller size, but i wanted the extra picture size just incase i ever decided to print one of them out. As for the quality, the p7 pictures look very simular to the p9 just with a smaller size. Im actually looking at getting the p7 for my dad in a week or two.

A Picture i took of my co-workers.

HERE are some sample pix i took with my p9. Im working on getting a gallery set up with more pix, i have some GEORGOUS night shots i took at the beach a week or two ago. So far i LOVE the camera though, no complaints at all.

Aphex & Furor, thanks for the informative opinion and thanks everyone for taking their time to post a picture of their digital camera.

I'm a superficial guy, and I like to judge a camera by it's outside then decide if I like the inside:p

Have a Canon S40 had a Canon S100. Two completely different cameras. Each one good at what it is supposed to do though.

nikon coolpix 5700. would have preferred a nikon d100, but I barely have the money to buy the body, and I don't have any nikon lenses.
