Ok, I ordered something on Tuesday night from Amazon.com, choose free Super Saver shipping, it just arrived vis UPS 5 minutes ago.

Ordered Tuesday night (abotu 9pm), they shipped Wednesday, it gets here Thursday.

Oh that is so cool!!! And shipping was FREE!!!!

Amazon.com does rock. I ordered an MX700 from them on Sunday night, free Super Saver shipping, and got it yesterday morning. Very nice. The MX700 is the best mouse ever too!

I got this the other day for $17.50 shipped (gold box deal), and it was missing one of the knives. I sent them an email and got this back the next day:

And that folks is why Amazon.com is still here and the other pretenders are not. Customer service, attention to detail, and understanding that they are more than a fancy shopping cart.

They went to the trouble to contact the supplier directly, that is more than most companies will do.

Amazon.com will continue to get my business.

The things about Super Saver shipping is it's low priority. If you get lucky you'll get it quick. But I've had them take over two weeks to get something to me that was in stock and they could have shipped any time. They reserve the right to not even ship it for a week or something like that, and then FedEx gets to take another week. So it's a gamble.
