tried it on a friend's geforce2 mx400 card. found a memory leak. after playing max payne for a while, we quit and tried playing startopia and got some wierd errors. reset win2k. started up startopia, and it worked fine, but after we quit and tried to go back to playing max payne, we got funky errors from that game. i'm guessing it's the new driver's fault, since when we downgraded to the old driver, everything worked fine.

Everyone points to their 3DMark scores going up as proof these new drivers are faster. It may improve that but my UT scores dropped about 20 fps so a 3DMark score does NOTHING to help me out. I have had no luck with anything but the 12.41 drivers which give me the highest fps as well as cleaning up some odd font problems, also in UT, that were first noticed in the 10.70 and .80 drivers. As always, YMMV and if you don't play UT, have at it and good luck !

ppaik that is because xp limits frame rate to 60 because of the refresh rates. There are refresh rate fixes out there though that will elimate this problem.
