How about you stop ****ING shooting me?!!?

I have never dispised the sound of guns so much.

This far in, chapter 20, the game is almost unbearable. I get that naughty dog sticked with what they're good, but now it just feels painful to even start up the game.

The camera is clunky as hell and while the shooting gameplay improved quite a bit, and they really took it over the top.

I'm playing it in normal mode and getting rushed by a bunch of baffons armed with shotguns, getting sniped at every turned and spammed with rpgs + grenades every time you just as much blink does NOT make the story nor the graphics enjoyable.

I really feel like 1 and 2 had a much more enjoyable pace. How this game managed to get dozens of perfect scores just blows my mind...

i do agree that the gun fights towards the end got annoying to play. it was like enemies were coming at you from all angles and you didn't have enough places to take cover, and they just kept coming and coming. it wasn't that fun as far as gun battles go IMO towards the end either. so i see where the OP is coming from.

other than that the game owned hard though. the last 1/3 of that game is one of the coolest pieces of gaming i've ever played.

If they spamming you with RPG. take those doods out first and fast. Some of those fights got pretty hairy. Some got "fun" as not only do you have to dodge the bad guys but had to try to get to the corpses for more ammo.

The most annoying for me in the Uncharted games tho were the jumps. I quit UC2 at the fortress because i just could not get that jump. The -run along the wall holding vine- jump.

most annoying in UC3 was the backwards running. Camera angles to facing you so you cant see where to run and jump to.

other than that loved UC3. Just amazed that they could squeeze so much graphical goodness out of such (compared to a PC) low end system.

Just block the bullets with your purse.

I lol'd.

Made it through the game on Hard without much of a problem right after it came out. Apparently they've patched it to improve the shooting, I should go back and check it out at some point. Love that game. Have the Nathan Drake/Nolan North/Johnny Knoxville Collector's Edition Uncharted 3 statue sitting on my desk at work.

You're right, Call of Duty was the first to do it and are to blame for vanishing health bars.
