Why did Oklahome almost lose to an unranked team that is on probation?

Why is Oklahoma now trying to back out of next years game against Alabama?

Because the Sooners SUCK!

Both teams are over rated. Neither will be anywhere near the national championship game.

Parity in the college ranks. Plus Bama is a good solid team

Actually Bama initiated the request for a change of schedule before the game this year. They didn't want to have to play OU or any big non conference games while on probation.

Hey....look at the scoreboard...what does it say?

I will give you that Bama is a decent team. By no means would I call them a a problem to the third ranked Sooners, yet the game was way to close.

Also, I was informed that Oklahoma was trying to back out of the game because they did not want to travel to Tuscaloosa.

Did you have an article about who was backing out?

hey, it's 7:00 pm here and OU still sucks.

It's not that OU won that game, it's that Texas blew it, period. I've never seen my defense crumble like that to one h back in a while. Both Simms and Brown lived up to their reputations of blowing big games. No surprise to me.

Not like it matters, no one is touching Miami in the title game.

There was an article here in the paper about the rescheduling of the Bama game a few weeks ago.....don't have a copy of it now but what it said was that Bama had initiated the request to change the schedule and put the game off for 2 years.

I don't know about that. Miami lost the game... too bad FSU decided they didn't want to win. ;) I think that Miami is a little weaker than people think. But they are definitly going to the title game.

They gotta get past Va. Tech first.
