I will have to take your word for it; I don't use taco seasoning packets. They are a complete waste of money.

yes, damn that 50 cents I could have used somewhere else!!! Me and my stupid ideas about actually paying a minimal amount of money for some convenience and speed.

I've used those seasons packets before and they worked great. I don't have all those crazy seasonings that they have in those packets and it doesn't make sense for me to buy them individually as I'll probably never use them again. I just keep all the basic seasonings.

For the record, I had a cheesy potato burrito & the new crunchy beef burrito for lunch yesterday.

I'm still not dead or fat.

I actually find making your own seasoning is better since the pre-packaged stuff is usually very salty.

LOL @ people suing Taco Bell for serving them questionable food. I guess none of these people have ever had a cheap hot dog, fast food chicken nuggets, or any number of other "Frankenstein" foods.

I got a kick out of it today, when Taco Bell decided to sue for defamation (or whatever they'd call it for a company, versus individual), saying the allegations are entirely false.

Their argument? They START with 100% beef, to make their taco meat (or whatever that crap is). Okay......but that doesn't mean that the person suing your company is wrong, when they say your taco meat is only 35% beef, does it?

What's so hard to understand? Taco Bell can't call it beef when it doesn't meet USDA definition of beef. Bastards are too cheap to put 40% beef into their meat.

No, I get it... the whole point is the false advertising. I was just trying to say that when I'm getting cheap-ass food, I'm not expecting to get high quality stuff, and I'm definitely not surprised when I learn stuff like this.

Anyone who expected it to contain 50% or higher percentage of beef was kidding themselves.

I roll my elitist eyes at you people who make your own taco seasoning by just mixing spices. WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY! I grow all my own spices in my spice/herb garden and make my taco season from scratch, with everything home grown and organic. And don't ask how, but I also microbrew the final spice combination to make my tacos extra uber

16 years ago, the tacos tasted pretty good. Something definitely changed and I specifically don't like the "beef" any more.

To that, I say: WHAT A WASTE OF TIME!
