I've used those seasons packets before and they worked great. I don't have all those crazy seasonings that they have in those packets and it doesn't make sense for me to buy them individually as I'll probably never use them again. I just keep all the basic seasonings.

I actually find making your own seasoning is better since the pre-packaged stuff is usually very salty.

I got a kick out of it today, when Taco Bell decided to sue for defamation (or whatever they'd call it for a company, versus individual), saying the allegations are entirely false.

Their argument? They START with 100% beef, to make their taco meat (or whatever that crap is). Okay......but that doesn't mean that the person suing your company is wrong, when they say your taco meat is only 35% beef, does it?

No, I get it... the whole point is the false advertising. I was just trying to say that when I'm getting cheap-ass food, I'm not expecting to get high quality stuff, and I'm definitely not surprised when I learn stuff like this.

I grow all my own spices in my spice/herb garden and make my taco season from scratch, with everything home grown and organic. And don't ask how, but I also microbrew the final spice combination to make my tacos extra uber
