Just for your information (please do not bring anything from other thread up)

Of the scanner.

The problem is the belt that moves the scanner head back and forth has fallen off. I can see how that could happen during shipping. The electronic portions of the scanner probably work just fine - it's a mechanical failure.

Anyway...I figured people would want to see it.
