i'm looking for a replacement for this part but not exactly sure what it is called. its sorta of a valve that prevents water from flowing the other way when pumped through the pump.Text
thanks!

backflow prevention valve? keeping drain water/sludge from coming up into your drains for whatever reason..

take it out, take it to home depot and ask, their employee's surely wont know, but maybe you can find a plumber in the parking lot

i dont think water is ran in pvc pipe, that 2" pipe looks to me like a drain...i guess maybe it could be a water line if its for irrigation, typically copper is used

where is this ?

yeah it is for draining to the sewers, i want to repipe it so it does go the entire length of my house before it exits.

Backflow preventer (check valve). Looks like 1 1/2". Just get one that fits the line. Find them at plumbing or pool stores. Man somebody got crazy with the primer.
