Last season, Pedro saying that the Yankees had gotten to him would be a huge blow... he was the psychological leader of our pitching rotation. Not this year. Schilling has stepped up and he represents our psychological edge now. I"m pretty sure Pedro will settle down in the postseason and look like he's back in form against the Yanks.... after all he still has to get revenge for their game 7 victory.

Read what your loverboy Jeter said, that comments like these have to be taken with a grain of salt and he doubts that Pedro could really mean it. Frankly, I don't know how Petey kept from cracking up while saying it... But it wouldn't be the first time that reverse psych has been used in sports.

BTW, Boston takes the season series 11-8, including a sweep IN NEW YORK'S OWN HOUSE, something I reminded Spankee fans would never happen at Fenway. Suck on it NY fans... Now all Tito has to concentrate on are beating those g.dam Orioles, they will have most likely cost us the fricking division.

NY won the division because the O's laid down and died when facing them, and spanked Boston. Don't fool yourself into thinking the Spankees had anything to do with Boston losing the division, Bosox had no trouble with NY all season (again, 11-8! w00t). The Yankees are analogous to the flea that lands on a dog that is attacking an intruder, insignificant in the whole scheme of things. The O's turned out to be the tapeworm that kept us malnourished.

Anyone who actually believed what Pedro said is pathetic and has lost their sarcasm meter. Unfortunately, Jeter didn't fall for it (well, he says that anyway). If you don't know by now that Pedro will do anything to get a reaction from NY, then you haven't watched much baseball.
