So being computer illiterate I prob just F'd up something else on my comp. But essentially I tried to d-load Direct DVD 4 from kazaa. It didn't work so I uninstalled it, but now I am getting an error that there is an aspienum.vxd file needed for something on my computer, yet I do not believe I ever did need it for anything on my computer. You guys think this could be a virus? Or, if not, anyone know where the hell I can get this damned file so I can open windows without the error message?
Oh yeah, how's your essay going Paige? I've yet to start mine
 
I read that one, but the thing is, I am running Win 98 (yeah I knwo, backwards tech) and this sin't during setup it's during startup

BTW, guys, help him out. I touted this spot to him as a good place for tech help (he posted in the wrong forum, I know, mods probably will move it soon.)
 
oh yeah, and my essay isn't goign that well, i think it'll be on Shelley's view of nature in Mont Blanc. And the upside I did find a quote I can relate to Milton's Paradise Lost; Satan flight.
 
Milton, I'll read that someday. Terrible to be a graduating English senior and not have read it, but that's how it goes.

I'm guessing the reason no one is helping is because it sounds like he was trying to pirate software off kazaa, got a virus, and now wants other people to fix it.
