I'm trying to go camping this weekend with a few friends and I'd like to go back to this beautiful forest. We do not have much camping gear, so we will have to camp out of a car. We also will need running water, but besides that and car access we're game.

I'm hoping somebody will have some great suggestions.

Hmm..

I've never been camping there, we always head up to the Mt. Hood area.

Well, I guess that's not true. We've camped in the coast range, and of course on the coast, too.

If you go to the Fall Creek area, there's a great place to jump off about a 25 ft high bridge.
I've never camped up there though, so I don't know what kind of facilities there are.

Are you going to do anything other than just hang out?
Fishing, swimming, boating, etc.?

And how far are you willing to travel?

thanks for the suggestions. I'm in Eugene now and we'd like to travel about 2 hours. We're hoping to spend 2 nights (Friday, Saturday). We also don't have reservations of course, so I"m not sure we could get into someplace busy.
