Hey New Yorkers, what is the cheapest and quickest way to get from JFK airport to Penn Station?

.....Well which is it? Cheap or quick? If you want quick and convenient, hail a cab. It's going to be around $55 including tip. If you want cheap, take the subways. There's really no happy medium.

take airtrain to jamaica, transfer to E train. it'll take you to w34, penn station.

quickest usually doesn't go well with cheapest, it's one or the other.

Take the E train from 34 Street, go uptown, get off at Sutphin Blvd, transfer and take the JFK AirTrain, get off at JFK.

then its probably A train to Howard Beach for airtrain or E to Jamaica for airtrain

Try airtrain to jamaica LIRR station, and then express LIRR to penn station. Its an extra buck or two for the lirr but its much more comfortable, and faster.
