Hey, my new WD 160 drive is only 131

I let windows XP create the partition and format and 131 gig is all I get.....same thing when I creat the partition.

What happened to the rest of the drive?

Windows needs to be upgated to read beyond that amount...I think there is an update somewhere out there but just upgrade to SP2 and I think its in there automatically

There is a 135GB limit on hard drive size - it might be in BIOS somewhere?
However, you should upgrade the WinXP, as rleemhui pointed out
