If it were up to me, movie concessions would be banned. All they do is mess and stink up the theater and cause people to make uncessary loud "crunching" noises during the movie.

Oh yeah, and they're overpriced. Leave the concessions to sporting events and the circus.

PSA: The "butter" at movie theatres is not actually butter (it is a butter flavored oil).

They're overpriced because that's about the only way a theater makes money. They don't make any money off ticket sales.

My personal favorite is twizzlers and popcorn (unbuttered).
When I worked concession I got to see everybody's personal combinations. A few that stick out: Quad-layered buttered popcorn, extra seasoning from the shaker, and pour a bag of Peanut M&Ms in the bag; half green slushy half sprite with above popcorn combination except with chocolate covered almonds instead of M&Ms. Can't think of the really strange ones at the moment. I just remembered the midnight shows brought in the stoners. Had 2 guys come in who had chosen herbal relaxation to top off a couple of beers. They stood there and dumped a pocket full of change on the counter and giggled (yes giggled) bloodshot-squinty-eyed while they counted out enough change for a small popcorn. It only took about ten minutes and I was completely entertained 🙂
