for jumping on my ass in THIS THREAD

you see, I hit accidently hit enter while typing the subject line, and went into edit my post and add the stuff I wanted in the post I started editing like a nanosecond after I hit enter and the post was made, and it took like 10 minutes for me to type up the NFL stuff.

In the time it took me to edit the post to correct it, you went and locked and did your own edit to it while I was editing. Basically, I started editing and typing my post before you locked and edited it yourself. Because my post was longer, you finished it first.

Your harsh tone and threatening me when I DID NOTHING WRONG will do nothing for new members feeling good about this place

Careful, Mods on a power trip will put the smack down on you. I agree threatening to ban a platinum member for something so small is kinda shady.

what happened is this:

I started editing right away.
The mods edited themselves
their edit was short and must have appeared before I finished my edit.
I finished my edit and apparantly my edit overwrote theirs.

I never saw their edit, or even knew the thread was locked until after I put my own edit on

editing a moderator edit is like correcting the teacher after she corrects you..That is cause for expulsion or at the very least...30 minutes in a small dark closet with a fat smelly kid named Ralph...hehe

and yess frizzlefry you made it before the lock, but I don't think the mods like people posting Beat the lock messages

<<Hey Mods, you owe me an apology>>

I wouldn't hold your breath, despite the fact that you didn't do anything wrong (if what you say is true). Gotta love mods who feel so insecure they must threaten to ban people for editing their cute little lines.

<< I know a little how Richard Kimball must have felt. >>

you cant say that, cuz the mods havent revealed how you are a pr0n freak, like the FBI did to Kimball

Reediting a Moderator edit is a sure fire way to a vacation.
Do it again and your gone.

Should be "you're".

uh, I think you're thinking of Richard Jewel the accused Olympic Bomber, I'm referring to Richard Kimball the Harrison Ford character from The Fugitive.

It was a One Armed Mod!

I would have to agree, I've edited out mod comments myself in the same manner. If they edit your post while you're editing it, & they update it before you do, your update will completely override theirs without you ever having known it was there.

Perhaps they should think things through a little more before they jump to conclusions.
