the fun thing about swiss-german is, that there isn't really a written language, because we normaly write in german german (you know what i mean). so when we try to write swiss-german it ends up being written like it sounds, which makes it sometimes quite hilarious.

Swisse-Duetsch! The language of my forefathers. I have no knowledge of it to speak of though. I just remember my dad talking about a word he remembered his grandfather used to use to express being mildly upset (like "crap"). Dad always pronounced it something like, "hinney-vet-neus". I'm sure the pronounciation has been too corrupted to identify, but it was worth a shot.
