Hey, I just ordered the Barton 2500+, the Abit NF7-S Version 2.0, and a Lite On 52XCDRW to upgrade one of my PC's. Now I want to know what would be a good brand of RAM to get. I would like it to be PC3200. I am thinking of overclocking my system, sometimes, but I plan on using air cooling. What would be a good RAM to get? I was thinking of the Crucial PC3200 RAM. I am thinking of getting 2 x 256MB in order to get dual channel memory capability. So what should I get? Thanks for your help in advance.

I decided to get the Corsair 3200 with the black heat spreaders that comes in pairs. What do you think of my choice?

I don't believe "matched pairs" are necessary unless you're trying to queeze that last 1 Mhz out of an overclock. If you just order 2 of the same thing, it should be just fine.

Also... I've heard of people having compatability problems with Hyper X and some nForce2 boards... I believe the Asus A7N8X Revision 2.0 in particular, but I don't know if that might effect your board too.

Corsair rocks. Try to get the XMS Lower latency which is rated at cas 2-2-2-6 which is faster than higher DDR mhz. BTW googlegear had 512mb pc3200C2 for $99 a stick.
