Hey, I just decided I want to print some panoramas - that is the easy part. . . How do I display them (cheaply)?

I'm going to order a couple of my panoramas on a 12x18 print. The panoramas will each be 6x18, and I'm going to cut them in half.

I know there is some easy, neat, and cheap way to display these that doesn't involve a 20$ frame. . .

I need ideas :)

I think you can just get something like a 8x20 matte board and an 8x20 sheet of glass and simply sandwich the photo in between.

That'll work. And the glass may not be necessary for some displays. Another alternative would be Plexiglas or Lexan. And another would be to mount them on foam board.

While I haven't mounted photos to foam board, I do that for all posters I frame with really good results. I have some that are several years old and still work great.

Dumb question. I can get foam board - but noone around here will 'cut class'. I do live in the 'sticks' as they say. I noticed you all said mount to 8 x 20 foam board. What is the easiest way to cut this 'exact' so that it doesn't look sloppy? Any pointers there?

Also, what would be the best way to mount the picture to the board? Some sort of adhesive? Do alot of you display pictures not behind glass? How does it work out.
