Hey Hawaii people, I need help

I'm moving to Hawaii at the end of July/ early August.

I need some help finding a rental, do you guys know of any websites/newspapers that list Rentals particularly shared rental advertisements because thats probably what I will have to do, at least at first to be able to afford it.

I have already looked at Rentals illustrated, Honolulu advertiser, and the Star Buellitin but, they don't have much in the shared department.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Anyway, bthorny: rentals are really tight in this market. prices have gone up by double digit percents in the past year or two, because interest rates have fallen, and so buying/selling is more attractive than renting at this time. usually what little openings there are are filled before they even make the classifieds. I assume you're moving to Oahu right? One more for the Hawaii ATOT gang, currently 4 strong 😛

If you don't mind sharing with a college student, you can send someone down to the University of Hawaii, Kapiolani Community College and a bunch of other colleges. The campus has a lot of bullitan boards with cheap rooms for rent.

That sounds great, that really sounds like the most effiecient way to get a decent place to live (rooming up witth several other peeps).

Darein might be coming to UH Manoa as well next fall. I am definitely going there, and ROTC1983 goes there. With bthorny, at this rate, we'll have more ATOT'ers than california!....well maybe not 😛
