So anyway I'm sitting here waiting for my comp to reboot after installing the latest 71.89, I take my rad (which is patiently sitting on the dresser waiting for my TDX to deliver) and shine a flashlight in it. Whoa! Everything inside is orange, including all the fins. So I take it the silver is just paint, and the rest is copper. Of course, how can I trust my own judgment? I head over to Jab-Tech and they say the thing is copper as well.

Good for me.

So does that mean I'll still need that anti-corrosive solution in the loop, even if both the CPU block and the rad are copper?

Hey Mr.;

In general an anti-corrosive is a good idea even if your loop is (supposedly) composed of same-metal blocks. There's bound to be at least a bit of some other metal exposed in your loop, like your pump.
