My issue is with Windows Media Maker, basically I took a clip of a film that I'd like to present and I am trying to save it to my computer/hard drive.
I tried saving the movie to a CD, to my desktop/etc. No luck.
According to google, it might be a codec problem. I tried downloading a Community Codec Pack, but with no luck.
I still get this message when I am partially done saving (around 18-19% in) and it says
So, it seems like it might be a codec problem.
I will be thankful for help.
Try using VLC media player to play the videos. Also, if you're saving them from youtube, there's an extension for firefox to make that simple; saves them as .flv files. VLC plays them no problem. This thread moved from OT to software for windows by DrPizza

Windows MM cannot save the movie to the specified location. Verify the original source files used in your movie are still avaliable, that the saving location is still avaliable, and that there is enough free disk space avaliable, and then try again.
