i desided to try linux and i am using windows xp sp2, so can i install linux and keep windows as if i have windows 98 and xp and i choose between the before bootinng?
and what distibution you think i try? i heard the ubuntu is good.

Yes you can do it, but you'll need either some free space on the hard drive or a second hard drive.
