Dragon Age gets better in the 2nd hour. And the 3rd hour. But in the 4th hour it kinda dips, and the 5th hour really sucks a lot. The 6th hour is a little better but not really as good as the second. And the 7th hour made me want to smash my head on the corner of my desk. The 8th hour is probably the best hour in the game, so it's worth powering through the 7th hour to get there. The 9th hour has a lot dialogue if you're into that sort of thing. The 10th hour really gets going as the plot starts to pick up and seemingly random events begin to make sense.

I'm going to bed now, will post my review of hours 11 through 85 tomorrow.
LOL

To the OP: yeah, each area questchain (after the town, where you should pick up two people before leaving) comes to an awesome climax. Slow burn to start, but you should play through at least one of these sequences before you give up.

I know its ancient but I started a new GTA:SA game for what must be the 500th time. I havent played in a coupla years but damn, I love that game. I too have denied myself PC gaming for a few years, was tied up in a divorce, unemployment and moving 3 times in the last 5 years so PC took a backseat. Last game I bought before I stopped playing was UTIII and Witcher I or so. I recently picked up metro 2033, deadspace and have reacquainted myself with win7 so I have been PC gaming all month. metro has grabbed me so I will be playing that exclusively for a bit.
