I should at least have the FSB at 166 to make use of the ram speed even though my cpu's default fsb is 133? Is this true? What is the speed level of ddr 3200? By that, I mean whats the FSB suppose to be on ddr 3200 ram and 3500 ram.

If your chip can run at 166 FSB and your motherboard can support it, then yeah, you'd see a noticeable increase in running at 166 FSB, which is the speed of the PC2700.

XP1800 @ 133 FSB --> 1.53ghz (11.5x multiplier)

XP1800 @ 166 FSB --> 11.5 x 166 = 1.91ghz

PC2100 --> DDR266 --> 133 FSB
PC2700 --> DDR333 --> 166 FSB
PC3200 --> DDR400 --> 200 FSB
PC3500 --> DDR433 --> 216 FSB

If your XP1800 is a tbred-b then go right ahead and try 166fsb which will get you 11.5X166 (1916mhz). You might have to raise the vcore a little. If its a Palomino core you can try 9.5x166 (1583mhz) or 10x166 (1667mhz). Or you can leave it alone and run your DDR2700 at 133, it will not mind.

DDR3200= 200mhz or 400ddr
DDR3500= 216.5mhz or 433ddr
